Research

My research integrates artificial intelligence, medical imaging, and robotic systems for image-guided diagnosis and minimally invasive intervention. It spans three connected themes:

  • Medical Image Computing: learning-based segmentation, registration, anatomical modeling, and treatment planning from CT, MRI, and X-ray data.
  • Computer-Assisted Intervention: tracking, multimodal registration, navigation, and real-time image guidance for minimally invasive procedures.
  • Interventional Surgical Robotics: vision and force perception, shared control, safety-aware assistance, and experimental validation of intelligent robotic systems.
